Well...

Love is a desire, that burns deep within.

It heals & refreshes our soul.

It gives us a reason to smile & provides a deep sense of happiness.

It is what unifies us, makes us trust one another in society.

Depending on how much one person may value love, that itself will show in the very nature of their being.
